When and where do we train?

We train for triathlons all over Orange County!

Orange County Endurance athletes meet at various spots around Orange County, CA, depending on the day’s activities. You can follow us on Instagram and join our Discord server to get the latest information about where we are training each week.

Tuesday night run

Some OCE members meet every Tuesday night at the Snail’s Pace running store in Brea to run with the Snail’s Pace club. This run is for all levels of athletes and runs up to six miles.

Wednesday Track Workout

For those looking to do speed work, you can meet up with OCE members on Wednesday evening at the Valencia High School track in Placentia.

Friday Open Water Swims

If you want to get some open water swimming in, OCE athletes can often be found Friday mornings between 6:30 – 7 a.m. swimming at the Newport Dunes in Newport Beach. Park along Back Bay Drive and meet at the restrooms.

Saturday and Sunday

OCE group workouts vary weekly depending on schedules, but typically, there is a long ride or long run every weekend. Rides are often on the Santa Ana River Trail (SART), starting at Yorba Regional Park or around Santiago Canyon. Runs are often on the Fullerton Loop trail, Chino Hills State Park, or Yorba Regional Park.
